Finally! The littlest man-child has finally lost his first tooth! He’s a month away from being 7 and was getting a bit impatient, we all were. Normally, we would let nature take it’s course and not place him on any kind of timetable, but he did have his perms coming in behind his babies and we were getting a little bit worried. We gently worked on him twice a day for a couple of weeks and I figured that, come next week, I would be making a dentist appointment. He finally lost it at school today and was so excited! When you lose a tooth, you get sent to the nurse who places the tooth in a little, plastic, tooth-shaped container to hang around his neck until he gets home. That’s a new one for me as my oldest never lost a tooth at school. Now the tooth is under his pillow, patiently waiting to be exchanged for the almighty dollar!
I’ve found me a new project and should be finishing it up tonight. Actually, it was a request from the middle man-child. This is my first toy project and is proving to be an….adventure. This is Sack Boy from PS3s Little Big Planet.

I might break out the wheel tomorrow. She’s been neglected for too long and I am anxious to get back to learning. I don’t have the steadiest hands, but it sure is relaxing and allows you to drift. It’s a good thing when you have a lot of stress but need to do something productive or you feel lazy.

The upgrades to the blog are going well and I’m really loving the new dashboard. It’s taking a little getting used to but it’s come a long way towards being user friendly. Remember when computers were for smart people? External modems, public BBS’s and command prompts? Now, the 86 year old grandma is emailing and editing pictures on her PC. That’s what it’s like with the new dashboard. I’m having some difficulties with the categories and I need to make my sidebar dynamic to take advantage of the widgets, apparently. As soon as I get that all figured out, I’ll be posting some neat content.
This is me, my mom and my oldest about 13 years ago. I miss her.
